Contending for championships. That is what we preach to our entire wrestling family. From the high school level all the way to the beginner group and everyone in between, that is our goal, to compete for championships. This off season we have seen that. Many of our youth wrestlers have competed across the country in a multitude of national dual and individual tournaments. These guys are the ones that will lead the future of the Brownsburg wrestling family. They are putting in the time and showing a love for the sport seen in the most successful wrestlers and are becoming great role models for the younger beginners just stumbling in to the sport. We just want to give a little shout out to these kids taking steps to become State and National Champions. Below is a List of Brownsburg kids getting after it across the country!

Brownsburg Wrestling—The Champion Factory

Elementary Summer Wrestling Camp

 

When: June 9th – June 12th; from 8AM-11:15AM

 

Who: Grades K-5 – (Based upon the 2013-2014 School Year)

Where: Brownsburg High School Wrestling Gym; Enter Door 8

Cost: $50 per wrestler; $30 for each additional sibling.

 

Daily Schedule:

8AM-9:15AM – Technique and Live Wrestling

9:15AM-10AM – Swim in Pool

10AM-11:15AM – Technique and Live Wrestling

 

Important Notes:

A.) Every wrestler will receive a Brownsburg Wrestling T-Shirt.

B.) The Tournament will conclude on the last day with a dual meet tournament.

C.) Each day wrestlers should bring the following: 2 sets of workout clothes, towel, swim trunks, wrestling shoes (tennis shoes are okay if no wrestling shoes).

D.) Sign-ups will take place the first day of camp, but for organizational purposes we ask you to please register in advance.  T-shirts may not be available the last day for walk-ins.  Those families could have to come back another day.

Pre-Participation Physical Exam

 

To participate in any high school open facility after June 6th, the athlete will need a new physical. 

This physical is good for next season too!

 

In an effort to help you prepare for the 2014-2015 school sports season, Brownsburg Athletics has partnered with IU Health to provide quality, low cost pre-participation physical exams.

New this year will be the opportunity to select a preferred arrival time. Also new will be the requirement that you must pre-pay when registering for an arrival time.

NO WALK-INS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Who — All middle school & high school athletes

Where — Brownsburg High School Varsity Fieldhouse—Door No. 14

When — Wednesday, April 23rd

Cost — $25.00 – Payable via credit card online or cash

Arrival Time — There are two ways to register for an arrival time. NO WALK-INS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

  1. Online and pre-pay via credit card
  2. In person in the athletic office. (STARTING ON APRIL 7th)
  • Hours 9am – 3pm
  • Cash or credit card will be accepted with in-person registration.

Please print, fill out and bring the IHSAA physical form with you to the physical.

Brownsburg Wrestling

And So it Begins…

Brownsburg Middle School Wrestlers, Club Wrestlers, and Parents

come to Brownsburg High School to reach a championship level!

East and West Middle School Wrestlers and Club Wrestlers will practice on Friday, Jan. 31st at Brownsburg High School in the Wrestling Gym. Enter Door 8 at BHS.

 Purpose:

This will be a great opportunity for both middle schools and club wrestlers to work together. Parents and wrestlers will be able to meet the high school coaching staff.  Furthermore, technique will be provided by two of the most elite club coaches in the entire Midwest. Wrestlers and parents will be given literature about opportunities to help their wrestlers reach a championship level. Continue reading »
